Situated in historic Dorp Street and the core of the oldest part of Stellenbosch the Boutique style hotel is within walking distance of more than 40 excellent restaurants and coffee shops, all the major museums, more than 6 art museums/galleries, 3 theatres. All central to the famous cape winelands. A mere 25 min easy drive from Cape Town international airport and 45 min from Cape Town Waterfront.

We offer 12 luxurious rooms all en-suite with 100% cotton linen, down or silk-filled duvets writing bureaus with computer points and all the usual luxuries. Some of the unexpected luxuries are surround sound DVD, spa bath, and wireless Internet throughout also available.

Our coffee bar "Koffieklets" offers a sumptuous breakfast and some South African delights like Koesisters, melktert and "Boeretroos" coffee. Light lunches are served. Guests can enjoy a sundowner in our ladysbar or book our meeting room for those inevitable meeting or two.

Make Eendracht your base to explore Cape town, the Cape Winelands, whale route and the beautiful West coast with its beautiful displays of wild flowers. All are within easy driving distance.

The Luxury bedrooms (12) are comfortable and well equipped with all the luxuries needed. Each room has two three-quarter beds or a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, a fridge and coffee making facilities, as well as air-conditioning and brand new 320-thread count percale linen.

Our regular corporate clients especially appreciate the writing bureaus.

A choice of down or pure silk filled duvets is an example of the comforts we offer to make your stay extremely comfortable. Each room has its own balcony or has access to one.

We also have a spacious family room.

Our Junior Suite (1) now has a surround sound TV, radio and DVD / CD system. If you enjoy good music and movies, remember to book this room!!
In these new rooms, both on the quiet and view side of the building, we maintained the existing level of luxury as in our other rooms and added things like bidets, double basins, corner baths and bubble baths.

Sitting /Meeting room
We had many requests for this sitting room, which can double up as a meeting room. We also acquired a liquor license and added satellite TV. This room can accommodate a max of 10 people for meetings.

Technologies
For your convenience, we installed Wi Fi throughout the whole building and in the restaurant. Now you can browse the net and download emails at super high speeds anywhere in die building!!

We installed a new digital telephone system and added direct-dial lines for all the rooms.

We also can take reservations and enquiries on Skype over VOIP.

The last 9 years Eendracht was awarded the first three positions of the AA award for the best small hotel in South Africa and for our service excellence.

Our friendly hostesses will assist you with your itinerary or help plan your day trip. We can assist you with places to visit and how to get there, e.g. wine tasting, good restaurants, botanical sites, hiking and historical places.

Koffieklets
Apart from the exceptional breakfast, we serve traditional South African culinary delights during the day.

Come and have a mug of "Boeretroos" coffee and "Beskuit" with us. Maybe also try some of our famous sweets like koesister and Melktert, all traditional Afrikaans dishes to enjoy.

We extended the Koffieklets Restaurant to serve light meals for lunch and sweets and sandwiches during the day and evenings. During winter months we serve Soup-and-Sherry and summer months some traditional “bredies”, such as “Waterblommetjiebredie”.

From the beginning of the 19th century life at the Cape demonstrated “la dolce vita”. “Eat and be merry” they said and ate the sweet “koesisters” at their festivities. “koesisters” is soft dough, cut up into strips, plaited, deep-fried in oil, and then dipped in ice-cold spiced syrup.

To Smoke or not to smoke?
To comply with our beautiful country’s new laws we decided to make Eendracht inside a smoke free environment. For those of you who enjoy the habit – ask for a room with a balcony – that’s almost all our rooms!

From Cape Town International Airport: Take N2 towards Somerset West Take Exit 33 (Baden Powell) to get onto R310 to Stellenbosch Drive approx 15km to T-junction Turn right to Stellenbosch At the 2nd set of traffic lights turn right into Dorp Street Drive up Dorp Street until you reach Eendracht Hotel (no 161) on your right. Parking is available behind the hotel. The entrance to the parking area is just past the hotel. From N2 (from the Garden Route) Take exit 43 off the N2 Turn right onto R44 to Stellenbosch Travel approx 15km At the traffic lights turn right into Dorp Street Travel up Dorp Street to no 161 (Eendracht Hotel) on right Parking is available behind the hotel From N1 Take exit 39 off N1 onto R304 to Stellenbosch Travel 15km to the town Continue straight along Bird Street until you reach T- junction Turn left into Dorp Street Eendracht Hotel is on the right a little further up the road. Parking is available behind the hotel.
