In the heart of the world famous Garden Route, Ocean View Lodge is 500 km east of Cape Town, 58 km from the airport in George and only 14 minutes drive from the charming town of Knysna. Ocean View Lodge comprises 3 buildings: Lodge and Owner`s House with Reception, as well as a restaurant where full english breakfast is served. Our grounds have unique Southern Cape Fynbos - many kinds of Proteas including King Protea, Ericas, Bitou, Buchu, Watsonias Camphor Bush, George Lily, Fire Lily, local Aloes, Fountain Bush, Keurboom Bush and many others. 6 km nature trail amongst beautiful Garden Route fynbos. Admire indigenous bush and trees, relax listning to local birds and if you are lucky you may see a blue duiker and bushbuck. You will see Indian Ocean during most of the Trail. The fauna consists of: Bush buck, Blue Duiker. Many feathery friends are here too: Sunbirds, Franklins, Guinea fowl, Blue Crane, Loerie, Ibis and many more. 12 min drive to Knysna, 40 min drive to airport in George.
